Day 22: Story

Day 22: The only way to describe some  feelings are love, joy, peace happiness. The feelings that I am overcome with when I look into the eyes, of a young child, especially the big brown eyes of one like this can only be described as love. The look that is in her eyes is one of purity. You know that she is young and innocent and happy full of love, with the ability to light up the room, with just the look on her face. My best friend in high school always said, "you should always smile, because you never know who's falling in love with your smile. When is the last time you fell in love with someone's smile.

Day 21

Day 21: You have to wonder what does it all really mean? Honestly we spend four years in college, maybe 5 or even 6 to get a piece of paper to put in a frame. Some of us get this piece of metal, that shows where we went, what we graduated with. But in the grand scheme of things like getting a job, searching the internet with another digital piece of paper finding a job what does it all really mean. Do the memories we have keep us warm at night, do the rings on our fingers that weigh us down while we type give us some sort of satisfaction. I don't know if they do, but I know that they mean the world to our parents and loved ones, and sometimes even to those men and women who sit behind a desk and ask a thousand questions while we sweat, and they look at us, writing notes, back and forth, looking us up and down. Sure its important, and everyone has one, when I was little I used to wear my moms ring around hoping and wishing and praying that one day I would have not only a high school ring, but a college one also. So what did you wish for when you where little, what one thing in the world meant more to you then you ever, knew, and now that you have it, really just doesnt seem as important as it used to?

Day 20

Flower

Once a very talented photojournalist told me that if the color was a distraction than you could turn a photograph black and white. I don't think that the color in this photograph was black and white, but just for kicks and giggles I turned it to see what it would look like. I think that I almost like it better in Black and White, the beauty is magnified a thousand times. The shapes are so clear. The patterns are repetitive and genuinely beautiful. I have take a couple of days off of the blog, not purposefully I suppose but none the less, I started something and I intend to finish it. Over these past couple of months I have had a lot of down time for one reason or the other and what I have noticed is that beauty is a matter of opinion, and everything has beauty in it somewhere. However sometimes, most times its not the big things that get to us but the small things. The small things are what make the world go round, and what makes us tick. Whether it be something small like this flower or something more minoot (think its actually spelled minute, but i wanted the phonetic spelling, to make the point.) like turning the photograph from black to white. I have begun to see things even more differently changes I could have never imagined when I started this blog, but you know what they say there is power in the tongue. So what little thing have you appreciated today, what little thing did you that made someone else tick...  Eye C things Differently, do you?

Day Sixteen

Day Sixteen: Sometimes all we need is a little comfort, compassion, joy is it to much to ask for a little understanding. Lighting in photography, is very unforgiving. Sometimes you end up with something amazing when you are playing around but the reality is you have to continually practice, to figure out what you are doing. Similarly in life you have to practice, and practice, and continue to grow and build your relationships with one another. Compassion and understanding are what make the world go round but you cant expect to get compassion if you dont give compassion. The photo tonight is of some of the most compassionate people I know my teddy bears. The continually give me compassion, bring me joy and are very understanding each and every night. The world through everyone eyes could be a much kinder place, if we all just used a little more love, compassion, and understanding... Whats one person you could give more compassion today, or could have this we how do you c them diff3r3ntly. How will they see you diff3r3ntly?

Day Fifteen

Dsc_3055

Day Fifteen is about style, me and a friend of mine went and bought some clothes, and then set up time for a shoot. I love playing with lighting. Its pretty much the best. Actually having lighting equipment etc, is fun to. I think that the most important thing with lighting is practice. Photography is becoming more and more common place, and the thing that separates people is not only their talent and ability but their style. We had a couple great shots during the shoots, maybe even some more that I will post. Anyways I will continue to practice and striving to always see the world diff3r3ntly so I have the ability to bring you new and different photographs.

Day Fourteen

Dsc_1593

Day Fourteen: Is again about music, the kind that touches your soul. I had a wonderful day at church. This is our choir director in the midst of a song. The spirit moving through her, all the way through her to the choir and then flowing deeply inside the rest of the congregation, emersing ourselves in it. It was just something beautiful. No music, just the beat of the drums and the voices of the choir led by the sheer God given talent of our Choir director. Looking for a good message, a bible preaching bible teaching church, Join us on sundays at Faith Ministries baptist church. www.faithministrieschurchmidland.org/  Sometimes all you need is a good word, and you never know how the word will just speak to the very core of your soul, but today, eye didnt just see differently, but here, felt and look differently. I love how every time I look through my camera lens I can see different things, and show other people, the different things that I see, tell them the story through my eyes, because everyone see's it differently, how do you see it? What ever your story maybe today, this day, hour, or minute...

Day Thirteen

Dsc_1017bw

Day Thirteen: Today was a day about the passion that you have for your craft. The joy that music brings to your soul. I went to a concert that was put on by Northwood University. The performers were the Harlem Quartet. They performed songs by Winston Marsalis and they a debut album coming out. You should check them out on http://www.harlemquartet.com/. However, the passion that they have for their music is something that soothes your soul. It is something that lets you in and it makes you want to be passionate about your craft. I was inspired to photograph them. I think that their passion and love for their music came through in the photos and over the next couple of days, there will be more photos from the night at Mollys Bistro. What in your life are you passionate about? What makes you passionate, make sure that you have different experiences and try new things. You never know what will inspire you or your passion. Eye now c classical music differently, it inspires me, what about you?
